This was an unplanned stop at a pub - The White Heart in Nettleton Bottom, just outside Gloucester. I had just picked up the boat pictured and on rounding the roundabout at the end of the A417/419 I noticed smoke coming from one of the trailer wheels. So stopped for a pint while the bearing cooled down, and limped into Gloucester where I spent the evening fitting new wheel bearings (the old ones took some getting off).

The following day we were racing in Llangorse, at about 30 seconds before the start of the first race we broke the boom. So we did a quick trip back to South Cerney to pick up a spare boom, and we spent Saturday evening sorting it out for racing on the Sunday. We did really bad in those races to make this our worst result at any opening meeting that we have attended.

Another Friday evening trip home. I am now wishing I had photographed the pub signs rather than the bar as it is difficult to identify them to log them. Anyway, thrashing my way through the back log as the plan is to drop Gottle off next week at a Geocaching event in a Gloucestershire pub Gottle hasn't got to yet.
