This ice cream sandwich (Jerry Newberg) wants to travel to cahces near other ice cream places. It is very important that he has have his picture taken with your favorite ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, etc or favorite ice cream shop. Jerry's mission is to report back to us on which places to visit when we go caching!
This is our first travel bug. We thought it would be cool to drop off our first TB in San Francisco while on vacation with hopes of seeing it in the Washington DC area one day. The problem was that we didn't know what we should use for the theme. We took a quick trip to Chinatown and found an ice cream sandwhich key chain. We all agreed that we all love ice cream (really, who doesn't?!). So we dropped off our first travel bug at Pier 39 in San Francisco. The trip was complete with some ice cream and a guy dressed up as a dog yelling at us. Good times!
So why did we call him Jerry Newberg? Well, Mr. Newberg is credited to creating the modern day ice cream sandwhich in 1945; at least according to Wikipedia. We released this travel bug because we really wanted to see pictures of where people take it (preferebly to ice cream shops). Please snap a picture and upload it.
