Regret to tell you that your Beep's the Jeep is missing. There is always hope that they resurface; we had one turn up after three years.
Part of my log after confirming the ammo can was empty:
Dave took off the premium designation so I could log this cache. Said he'd probably leave it off since that hasn't kept jeeps from going mia.
I retraced our steps in hopes of solving the mystery of all those jeepish travelers disappearing late this summer. Only one finder at the remote new location where we've never seen anyone else in sight. All the trackables and matchbox jeep tb candidates, and some other good swag all gone. The log and a police cruiser magnet remained in the ammo can. Great ammo can too. Why would an accidental finder of a well hidden ammo can pass up the ammo can?
So, to see what happens, Dave left a couple more matchbox jeeps, a blue light stick, and a smiley-face ball in the ammo can with the log and magnet. If there is another disappearance, the ammo can will have to move again. For now, there should be no trackables left at this stop, please.
Since it's now well past a reasonable time for tardy retrieval logs, Dave will start marking the missing, with notes to the owners. With this cache leaving the hotel business, one that allowed many local and more distant visitors to see several of the colors of the traditional jeep releases over the years, a new memorial to the missing might be in mind.
