Buster the Bulldog

The logo is actually the logo of an Australia rugby league team known as the Bulldogs. A team I have supported all my life. The site for the team can be found at http://www.bulldogs.com.au. They were formed in 1908 and more on their history can be found here.

Whoot! We are in Seattle on vacation with Krispe Kritters. We visited the Fremont Troll up the hill, then headed down to see the geocaching mothership! Yesterday, we took Buster to the epic 16-inning baseball game between the Chicago White Sox and the Seattle Mariners. The Sox won 7-5. Yay! Before the game, we visited the Pyramid Alehouse across the street. We took pics there, too. We'll post pics when we get home. You didn't have baseball on your list of suggested sports, but we took Buster to a minor league game between the Normal Cornbelters and the Frontier Greys. The Cornbelters won 11-3! We even had a coupon, so we each got a free hot dog, a Coke, and a ballcap. Of course, we also enjoyed a couple of beers! Overall, it was a fun Friday night. Our team won, we got to watch a full moon rise over the field, and a fireworks show followed the game. :-) Yes, we know that "Cornbelters" is a horrible name, but the team is supported by the Corn Growers Association. It's kind of hard to cheer "Go, Corn!" as they try to promote on the scoreboard. LOL But, it's the nearest team to our area, and we enjoy the games, despite the corniness. ;-)
