Havaianas é uma marca brasileira de chinelos de borracha. A marca, comercializa cerca de 162 milhões de sandálias anualmente, dos quais 10% para mais de 80 países dos cinco continentes. A cada três brasileiros, dois em média consomem um par de "Havaianas" por ano.
A idéia para o produto foi inspirada nas Zori, sandálias japonesas feitas de palha de arroz ou madeira lascada e que são usadas com os kimonos.

Havaianas is a Brazilian brand of rubber slippers. The brand, sells about 162 million shoes annually, of which 10% to over 80 countries on five continents. In three Brazilians, two on average consume a couple of "Hawaiian" every year.
The idea for this product was inspired by Zori, Japanese sandals made of rice straw orchipped wood and are used with kimonos
