Visiting caches. LOTS of caches!!!
After being released into the game and traveling 9735 miles, this travel bug was placed into a cache and disappeared. February 2, 2013 was the last active date for this trackable. I waited and hoped that it might pop back onto the map, but alas, nothing has come of it.
September, 2021. New update. The bug travel distance now sits at 10,705 miles and was in a cache that I found AFTER it was dropped into it. It's a goner again, I'm afraid.
BUT! Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, this travel bug has been refurbished with a new hitchhiker and a new mission. It is my hope that this travel bug will be an illuminating find for you! All I ask is that you move it from cache to cache. If you do a LOT of caching, feel free to hang onto him for a month and "visit" him to every cache you find. If you're only an occasional cacher, then please try and place this travel bug into a popular cache for the next finder to enjoy. Just make sure it gets moved around - A LOT!! It's small enough to fit into anything bigger than a micro-sized cache. Enjoy!
