About This Item

Finnish Racing Fish

There were four fish wondering about what to do with their lives. They were all good friends and very competitive, and still each of them have a very unique temper. Finally they came up with an idea what to do, they would race against each others. And what would be a better goal for a fish than swim in several different seas and oceans. They would really like to be photographed with other fish as well.

Ultimate goal of this race is to promote the protection of the world seas, these fish can’t live without clean water.

A. Short introduction of the racing fish

Cool Blue Fighting Fish
Cool customer, don’t let his slightly stocky appearance fool you because he plays an innocent role until it is time to strike. He is always one step ahead with his thoughts.

Fiery Red Grouper
She is fiery in her temper, and fiery in her moves. Can be mistaken as being chaotic, but she has usually everything under control.

Kind Yellow Ladyfish
She likes to have good relationships with others, but when racing there are no friend, only losers on the other side.

Natureloving Green Perch
He loves nature, loves playing with other fish, but when it comes to competitions he will always try his heart out. He has somewhat absentminded appearance but that will change when race gets hot.

B. Rules for this grand race around the world are:
- the winner would be the fish which would first visit and/or swim in all named seas and oceans (listed below) and travel back to home in Finland
- the seas and oceans can be visited in any order they like, visiting can be proofed by being placed in a cache close to the named sea or ocean and/or photograph showing the fish and the sea or ocean
- they prefer travelling individually, if possible
- the starting point of the race would be in Espoo, Finland (not from same the cache though)
- race started in July 2010, it will continue as long as needed :)
