Blues Mobil

Dies ist ein Matchbox Auto, welches ich im Jahr 1990 erstanden habe.
Ich wollte ein Polizeiauto im Stiele des legendären „Blues Brothers“ Film kaufen, welches ich in meinem Auto ausstellen wollte. Ich habe es ca. 10 Jahre in meinem Auto mit mir herumgefahren. Dann war es in einer so schlechten Verfassung, dass ich es nicht mehr über den TÜV bekommen habe. In dem „neuen“ Auto hatte ich keinen Platz mehr. Die nächsten 10 Jahre verbrachte es in einer IKEA „Moppe“ Box. In dieser Box hat es 4 Umzüge mitgemacht. So und jetzt am Ende des Jahres 2010 habe ich es wiedergefunden und finde es soll nicht einfach entsorgt werden. Es ist bereits etwas der Lack abgestossen, es rollt noch sehr gut und ich habe beschlossen daraus einen Travelbug zu machen.
Das „BLUESMOBIL“ soll nach America reisen und dort viele Abenteuer erleben und vielleicht nach dem es in Chicago, Illinois war wieder nach Europa zurückkehren.


This is a matchbox car which I bought back in 1990. I wanted to buy a police car like the one in the legendary Blues Brothers movie to showcast in my own car. This matchbox car had spent 10 years in my ride - a Renault..... - before this Renault was in a desolate shape and wasn‘t allowed back on the road by the German authorities (TÜV). Since my new car didn‘t offer a suitable place to put the model, the police car spent its next 10 years in a box and moving 4 times with my household! After Christmas 2010 I discovered it again but decided its too precious to be thrown away. Since its still quite good at rolling, I decided to turn it into a TB. My BLUESMOBILE wants to travel to the USA, maybe even to Chicago, Illinois where the movie was made and eventually return to Germany.
