This B-52 is another in a series of aircraft originating from Edwards Air Force Base in California. The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 has been in active service with the USAF since 1955 and can carry up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons. Also known as BUFF (Big Ugly Fat Fellow). The B-52 should be in service until the mid-2030’s!
