Sammy is a very special travel bug who has been sailing around the world since I released him into a cache by The River Thames in London in December 2010.

He has been immensely lucky with the cachers who have found him who have posted some fantastic photos of him enjoying playing on and around water all over the place!

Just one thing please don't dip Sammy unless you are going to take photos and write logs....I would like his caching adventures to be enjoyable reading for everyone

Many thanks to all the brilliant cachers who have taken up his challenge and I hope I get to continue watching Sammy having fun for a long time to come...

I am delighted to hear that Sammy is safe and well as I truly thought he was completely lost...shame hes lost his spyglass tho!

But it is amazing that he has turned up....hopefully he can now continue his adventures and keep sending photos home to me :-)

I’m the cache owner of the Fort Flagler cache where this trackable was placed in July. I visited the cache for cache maintenance in the afternoon on August 13th and the trackable was no longer in place. I’m marking it as missing to make sure the trackable inventory is accurate.
