Bei dem TB handelt es sich um eine Münze die anlässlich der 1000-Jahres-Feier von Tangermünde (1009-2009) entstand und jetzt auf Reisen gehen möchte. Der Name kommt dabei von Kaiser Karl IV der sich auf einer Seite der Münze befindet. Dieser Kaiser lebte von 1316- 1378 und richtete in der alten Burg eine Kaiserpfalz ein. Die Stadt sollte dabei zur Hauptstadt der mittleren Provinzen aufsteigen, was durch seinen Tod verhindert wurde.

The coin bears the name of the imperator Karl IV who lived 1316-1378 and founded a imperial palace in the old castle. The city should reach the capital of the middle province but this was prevent by his deahth.
