Current Goal

I’m not a mean bee that stings; my name is Buzz, and I am a Honeybee.  My job is to pollinate flowers and plants, and use the nectar I collect to make honey in my honeycomb.  If you take me, please move me to another honeycomb (or geocache) soon, and along the way if you can, take a picture of me in your garden or with some pretty flowers.  Log where I go on geocaching.com where you can also post any pictures you may be able to take of me.   Thanks !!!

Believe it or not, even with an overnight low that dipped into the upper 20s and a couple of night of heavy frost last week, I happened across these azaleas in a Dallas area park. I'm pretty sure they were protected by a Live Oak canopy or their own foliage. Anyway, I finally snapped a picture with Buzz before sending him on his way. Good travels!

  • Buzz the Honeybee with Azaleas Even with a little film of ice on a few puddles nearby, these blooms looked pretty good. A few had frostbite around the edges, but that's nothing to complain about in January!
