Cataleen is interested in other insects - it would be great if you could post some cool insect pics! Other than that, she would just like to visit all continents, then return home to maybe become a pupa ;-)
I am Cataleen, the caterpillar. When I grow up, I will be a Cinnabar moth (Tyria jacobaeae).
This is what I looked like before I hatched
: I used to be an egg. I have 299 brothers and sisters.
I hatched in July. Some of my brothers and sisters
hatched in August. Right now, we're eating a lot because we want to grow bigger!
My favourite food is ragwort, but I also love coltsfoot, or butterbur.
Before winter, I will turn into a pupa and wait for spring!
Once I've grown up, I will be even prettier and have black and red wings!
