This is the description note our kids wanted included with the Golden Anniversary geocoin our kids gave us to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary:
This “gold” trackable coin is a gift to our parents “Mr. & Mrs. Duckmeister” (aka. cschooner). They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on August 26th, 2016. Our mission is to have this coin travel to places that have had special meaning to them during their 50 years of marriage.
These special places include:
· Calvin College in Grand Rapid, MI (where it all began)
· Merrillville, IN - Al's hometown,
· Bellflower, CA, - Joyce's hometown
· Catalina Island, CA - Honeymoon
Pantego, NC - Where the kids were born
· Mogollon Rim, AZ - Favorite camping area
· Tempe, AZ - Our first AZ home
Kauai, HI - 40th wedding anniversary and other vacation adventures
Netherlands - Our ancestors DONE
Our goal is to have this coin logged 50 times to commemorate their 50 years of marriage. The more photos and anniversary wishes you include in the logs the more special their Golden Anniversary will be.
Our parents have been geocaching for all of their retired lives. They truly enjoy placing and hunting geocaches and the community of geocachers they now call their friends.
A couple that geocaches together, stays together!
Thank you for helping us make their anniversary special.
