Beautiful day... Sue and I brought along a picnic lunch and spent most of the afternoon at Spooner's Cove. Amazing Purple Lupine blooms everywhere. 😛
The Emmisary dropped off a Wildflowers & Mountain Air pathtag. 😎

Visited 3/13/2022 tom4props took it to 🦉Mr. Owl’s Mystery House (Gadget Cache) California - 10.53 miles  Visit Log

This was my 2nd haunted gadget cache of the day... and... Both are outstanding! 😛
At this location, I needed the hints and once read, I flew (like the resident owl,) through step one. Part two, on the other "wing" lured me down a dark corridor of unnecessary complex theories, etc... until finally, the wise old owl in me cleared the cobwebs and set me back on the obvious path... to a simple solution. 😁
Well done! I signed the log sheet (couldn't forget to do that) and traded pathtags. 😁

Visited 2/18/2022 tom4props took it to Sierra Travels-Camp Independence California - 193.23 miles  Visit Log

I set off after the clues, derived the final location and ventured over to ground zero for the find. Hard to believe I'm only the 2TF after all this time. Beautiful out this morning. 😛
The Emmisary dropped off a Mr. Banana: Puzzle Buster pathtag. 😎

Visited 10/17/2021 tom4props took it to Snowy Plovers California - 250.95 miles  Visit Log

Sue was dreaming about taking in the Tuna view and I had visions of Tuna caches old and new... 😁
So, Sue packed up a lunch and I, some pathtags and... off we went. Turned out to be a beautiful day and excellent Fall hiking weather. 😛
The Emmisary dropped off a JMC Ogimi pathtag. 😎

Visited 8/19/2021 tom4props took it to Romo Burnt Tree California - 226.97 miles  Visit Log

I kept my momentum going and walked right by this charred sentinel on my way up to the overlook, then stopped by on my way back down making this 2nd cache of the day. Fun trail. 😛

Visited 7/27/2021 tom4props took it to Chip’s Piece of Heaven California - 227.54 miles  Visit Log

9,514 ft - 4:00pm. Sue and I took a semi-loop around the lake before landing at, Chip's Piece of Heaven. I made a few trades and then, we went down to the beach for a while before continuing around the lake. 😛
The Sherpa dropped off a Tree Skiing pathtag. 😎

Visited 7/21/2021 tom4props took it to Pacific Crest Key Chain Cache California - 11.52 miles  Visit Log

I replaced both the container and the log book this morning. Three of the old keychains and a coin were salvageable, plus... I also dropped off four pathtags. 😛

Note: new container - You will now be looking for a 2" tall x 6" wide tin, hidden at ground level (base of tree with typical cover).
Good luck and, Happy caching! 😛

Visited 7/16/2021 tom4props took it to Stop, Elmer, No Fishing! California - 33.74 miles  Visit Log

Great cache location and fully loaded with all the geocaching conveniences. I took a seat and tackled the job without doing any fishing. 😛
The Sherpa dropped off a Cache Wizard pathtag. 😎

😁 FTF 😁 {FTF} 😁 FTF 😁
10:40am. I spent most of my time concentrating on all the wrong places, both today and last December. And... each time, I also looked at just the right spot but this time, I invested just a little more effort in that particular spot. 😉
The container is one that I would describe as a micro rather than nano... I was, after all, able to fit a pathtag inside. 😁
This was another great morning to return to this peaceful little spot... The sun was shining and a prevailng breeze kept the temperature very comfortable. I hiked down and around from the Reagan Ranch, returning the same way (Yearling, Lake Vista and Crags trails). Great hike. 😛

Visited 5/12/2021 tom4props took it to For Whom the Bell Tolls California - 250.07 miles  Visit Log

1:08pm. I skied all morning and took a side trek over to the cache on my way back into town. Good coordinates... however, the cache was not where I spent almost all my time focusing all my attention. It was where I least imagined and... in the very last place I looked. 😉
Love the container! 😛
