This bug is the Hare, one half of 'The Hare and the Tortoise ABC Race'. It's aim is to beat the Tortoise travel bug by travelling throughout the world. The more caches the Hare visits the more points he gets. However, he will get many more bonus points if he travels to a cache, place or country in alphabetical order.

Scoring system:

1 point for every 150 miles travelled
5 points for each cache box it visits
25 points for a cache box name beginning with the correct letter
50 points for a place name beginning with the correct letter
100 points for a country beginning with the correct letter

    what a very nice idea; and i am happy to help the hare to travel more. i found it in my holidays with kmoos, on sardenia. it was the end of our last day there, we were gratefully that the weather was better than in the morning, to look for the cache. in the morning it was raining so badly that we couldn't do anything.

    we will place the hare on a very good place to give him some points.

    The hare starts travelling. We found it, a little bore for so many days waiting. But now she is in Barcelona, at home, but soon in one of our caches located in Barcelona.

    We have decided to send the hare on it's holidays, We should be in a position to let you know where it is in about a week or so.

    It was far too windy up in the cache and hopefully we will be able to earn it some mega points.
