Found his little guy in a beautiful spot in the Sooke hills. We often come hiking here as its quite quiet. Having recently learned the majority of local tree species, like Arbutus and Dogwood we have been investigating where they naturally grow. This area is perfect for them both, being hilly with rocky out crops and well-drained soils. Great spot for bugs too. We will get this little fellow on his way as soon as we find a great spot for him to continue on his geographical expedition.
