Well what a surprise, I went up to rehide a new cache to replace the one I presumed had been muggled and the missing cache was back in the same place I'd hid it a week before with everything still in it. Very strange indeed especially since I've searched high and low for it. Anyway I took the coin out and I'm out geocaching tomorrow so will find somewhere suitably scenic for it.
