Current Goal

Welcome geocacher to the Geocache Derby. You have just become the next jockey for a segment of this race. The horse you have found is 1 of 4 horses racing across this great country. The start of this race was a cache called Aladdin Tipple Cache (GCGY43) located on the Northeastern border of Wyoming. This is a round trip race to a cache called The Stable (for Travel Bugs) (CE2FE) in Lexington, Kentucky and back to the Aladdin Tipple Cache in Wyoming. The first horse to complete the round trip is, of course, the winner. It's OK for Trippy to backtrack and take detours. All I ask is that you place her in "High Turnover" type caches. More than anything else (including winning) is to have some fun. Take some pictures, talk about her travels, where she’s been, and where she’s heading to next. If you would like to track the progress of this race the entries are as follows: Sophie (TB79A3), Trippy (TB7881), Char (TB6FA8) and Rabbit (TB681E).

Oops! Trippy got run off the track and has been living the good life inside the Cookie Monster's Eye, but it's time to get back in the race (if the race is still on!)

After a long rest stop outside Chicago, we took Trippy on our trip to Colorado and left him in Bouldergirl's TB Hotel GC1FVAN where the high traffic along Rt. 36 outside of Boulder and University of Colorado should speed up his journey back to Wyoming.

We found this at a cemetery cache in Michigan with a group of newbies. This fella has some serious miles on him! Our friend has Trippy and is heading West soon to get him closer to home.

Found Trippy on our maiden day of geocaching with 8 Family and Friends while staying at Scott's Lodge, Grayling, MI. Will post the discovery location as soon as we figure out which one of the 10 we searched that day. Trippy has been in the North Woods way too long, and we will take him on our trip to Fort Collins and Denver in a couple weeks. In the meantime he is in the backstretch outside of Chicago.
