I hope that this coin lets people remember the sacrifice made by our soldiers yesterday, today and tomorrow. When you find this coin take a minute to remember and if you are with younger ones who don't know the meaning of the poppy or have never heard the poem I have included it below for them to read.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
