To return to Canada and visit Canadian cemeteries.  Specifically, the goal geocache for this coin is: Firehouse Series: Innerkip Fire Station (GC24305).

About This Item

This remembrance day poppy is my first geocoin.  It was a gift for Christmas 2011. 

My best friend, Pte. Tyler Todd was killed in Afghanistan April 11, 2010.  I would like to see this remembrance day poppy return to Canadian cemeteries.  Specifically, I would love to see the poppy reach his hometown of Bright, Ontario and the cemetery at which he is buried in Innerkip, Ontario.

We are currently living in Hawaii and have had many visitors.  We know he would have been one of the first and would have loved it here.  That is why we chose a cache in Honolulu as this coin's starting point.

My wife and I are visiting from Des Moines, Iowa and found this coin I did not have web access so logging it now. A great way to remember your friend, I am taking it home and hope many people take time to pass it along on its goal. Hawaii is the most beautiful place I have ever visited. I hope to return again.
