Join us in the Canadian Badlands for Western Canada's Baddest Mega Event - July 16, 2011, Three Hills, Alberta. As part of the Best of the Bad Mega Event, we have Jeremy Irish (co-founder of Groundspeak) attending, a new Canadian version of the GPS Adventures Maze, as well as many satellite events that will showcase the unique area and of course some fantastic geocaching, with routes being developed especially for the event.
The Canadian Badlands in Alberta are home to the world's most extensive dinosaur bone beds, badlands and hoodoos, and a world-class museum that shelters a 75 million-year-old legacy. The region is rich in culturally and historically significant sites that tell the story of the First Nations people and early settlers, and a complex and diverse modern society that is still deeply rooted in the spirit of the frontier.

Saw this coin today in a cache in Oregon
Looks like this coin has been up and down the west coast and didn't make it back to the mega event . I may hang on to it a while and take it to the East Coast or overseas.
The only cache I was able to reach from the Cruise Ship, on a delightful stop. Wonderful area to see.
Couldn't find a good place in Canada to drop, so we're hoping a caching cruiser will come along soon to take you closer to home. Thanks for traveling along
