**Big news the Oil Region Alliance and the local DCNR are now giving away one free Oil Creek State Park - Kennerdell Tract - Clear Creek State Forest trackable geocoin with each train ticket.
We would like to invite you all to come and ride the OC&T rails through the valley where Col. Edwin L. Drake drilled the world's first commercial oil well.
During your trip through the Oil Creek Valley you will see the great Pennsylvania woods where once stood hundreds of oil derricks, miles of oil pipelines and the great Oil Creek that was used for oil transportation along with supplying many a great meal of fish and waterfowl. All through the valley can still be seen relics of the great oil boom that sent the entire world on an oil frenzy that affects us to this day.
