Mid size coin with heft.  The front of the coin has a medallion with very nice background metal texture.  There is a raised neck and head of a  hound dog done in black, white and brown enamel.  The rim has recessed scrip that reads "Basset Hound Rescue" and "The Tank Hounds 2006".  There are recessed paw prints in the rim.  The reverse had a design of the US with enamel colors of the flag.  There is a commercail "G" in the center.  The background of the medailion has the same nice background metal textrue.  The rim has recessed script that reads "Spread the Word, Adopt a stray today".  A very nice early personal coin.

Info on the coin: In June 2006, Susan and her husband from Chattanooga, Tennessee, started their career as a cacher under the Nick Tank Hounds. They chose the nickname "Panzerhunde" because they had 6 dogs (4 Bassets and 2 Bloodhounds) at the time and took a photo with all the dogs on one tank every year, because Susan's husband is in the army. 38 x 3.5 mm 2D nickel geocoin with a partially colored hardenamel surface on both sides.
The obverse is for Susan. There is a rather simple portrait of a Basset Hound in brown and white. All around is BASSET HOUND RESCUE (the team had taken all the dogs from the shelter) and THE TANK HOUNDS 2006, each separated by three paw prints.

The reverse is a reminder of her husband's profession.
It depicts the outline of the United States, filled with the national flag and in front of it the geocaching "Gx".
The following can be read all around: SPREAD THE WORD and ADOPT A STRAY TODAY, analogous to "Spread the word" and "Adopt a stray today".

On September 8, 2006, 100 trackable and 100 non-trackable geocoins, numbered from 01-100, were ready and shipped.
The problem with the non-trackable coins is that they show the indication that they can be tracked on geocaching.com.

The new geocoins were quickly exchanged or sold.
In the fall, Susan came to the conclusion that she was only swapping her next geocoin, planned for 2007, because she didn't like the fact that some of her coins were traded quite quickly on ebay.
So her 2nd Geocoin appeared in June 2007 in the form of a dog tag without further information. (Source)
