Current Goal

Drifty, my sponsor loves the great outdoors and loves to see new places. But since there are so many neat places, and so little time I have been sent out to ride and hitchhike around from cache to cache in an effort to see as many as possible.

About This Item

Dusty, ready to hit the trail

I need your help! If you find me in a cache please remove me and give me a lift to the next cache you visit. Please don’t take me home and forget about me, or let the dog chew on me. Enter a log on the system when you pick me up and drop me off and attach some pictures from the cache site if you can so my family will know where I am and that I am ok. Be sure to tell them something about the neat places where you find me and drop me off. At some point in time I’d like to go home for a rest and visit the family at the Bloomington Overlook Cache in St. George, Utah 84770. Thanks for the lift. Your friend, Dusty

It is with great regret that I need to inform you that this Travel Bug has been kidnapped.
A list of demands is in the working and when the demands have been met your travel bug will be returned to a cache to continue its journey.

One of the main reasons for the kidnapping is the actions of a cheating geocacher named xterracacher who also goes by the name cachiere

The first demand is for the administrators of www.vigps.com to allow an account to be formed in the name of geojihad.
There will also be a new forum subject called "Kidnapped Cacher" created and it is there that you (one of 28 kidnapped travel bug owners) will be able to watch the negotiations for the secure release of the hostages.

There will be no further contact with you regarding your travel bugs.
All correspondense will be done at www.vigps.com on the forum board (yet to be created) called Kidnapped Cache
oh and by the way. This is the oldest travel bug of all 28

As we're beginners at this game, This is the first travel bug we pick up on the third cache visited. Initially intended to drop it off in a newly set up cache in shawnigan lake "gmoney" that we ultimately did not find and after reading Dusty's message I think we'll take it to either a Victoria or Nanaimo cache where it may have more chances to "travel".

Found Dusty back on October the 8th when we were visiting Llyodminister for a wedding. We've brought him back to Duncan with us and will try and get him moving again very soon.
