Took this TB in order to remember to do a kind deed but also to mention a wonderful visit we had this past November. Our goal was to complete doing the Santa Fe trail geotour. Along the way we ended up visiting the Philmont Boy Scout Ranch. We spent a little time actually picking up a cache inside the Tooth of Time Traders, the Philmont. Store. The entire complex is amazing but with covid the only thing going on was the shop. In reading the sign we also discovered that the ranch was started up by Waite Phillips, who founded Phillips petroleum. We’ve lived in Tulsa Oklahoma and knew of Waite Phillips and knew he was a very generous man, but didn’t realize his connection to the Boy Scouts.
I plan on doing a nice hike should there be some good weather, supposed to have some rain for the next 5 days. I’ll try and remember to take a picture of the TB on the hike. Hope the TB continues on its way.
