Broadway Joe would like to go just about anywhere. If he made it by to see the old university in Alabama or stop by and check out the Jets facilities and see the city that made him famous New York City that would be fun. He would even enjoy getting back home to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Joe is game to go anywhere.
Joe Namath played high school football in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania before he was recruited by Bear Bryant to play at Alabama University. This is hard to list because Joe led Alabama to an Orange Bowl blow out of 17-0 over the Oklahoma Sooners in 1962. After his stellar college career Joe was drafted by the New York Jets and signed for a record salary of $427,000. He led the Jets to a 1969 Super Bowl victory over the Baltimore Colts. Broadway Joe was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
