I was tempted to hang on to this till - after a brief trip to No. Dakota and Iowa - I'll be back in Europe a few months from now. But it's time to give Rose some freedom. And a few travelers I last left in Europe wound up in effect kidnapped by Parisians who apparently collect them to show off at occasional geo-gatherings, with the result that every three or four months I receive maybe twenty "I Discovered ___" notices, after which the "travelers" are again locked up in some kook's collection. So maybe Monnickendam Rose is safer from bondage in the States. Safer even than in Norway.
