This coin was picked up in Georgia over a year and a half ago with the intention of placing it in this very cache. When I got back to DC, I couldn't find the coin! Today, as I cleaned my backpack, I found it in one of the pockets. Since my backpack goes everywhere with me, this coin has sat in college classes, visited other colleges, explored the nation's capital, watched operas, and so much more!
This coin, to the best of my knowledge, has visited MD, VA, Orlando, Gettysburg, Bethlehem (PA), TN, and passed through many other states in the south, all from the comfort of my backpack.
I wish this coin good luck. Hopefully, being in DC, someone going out of the US can find it next!
