Visited 3/23/2019 Pengwinldy took it to RS-The Tooth California - 18.95 miles  Visit Log

RS-The Tooth: I wanted to go up to Lake Elsinore to see the wildflowers last week but they closed it there were so many people. So, I decided last night to get an early start and drive out to Anza-Borrego. Instead I slept in. At 10:45, I reached out to DegelDuo to see if she wanted to hike to Tooth Rock with me and she said “yes” even though she has already found them all. So we spent 4 hours hiking, enjoying the colors from the wildflower “super bloom”, the views, grabbing caches and catching up. What a perfect day!

Visited 3/19/2019 Pengwinldy took it to CC#7 (35K) California - 16.45 miles  Visit Log

CC#7(35K): Got there as the landscapers were working but I had to get to work to I went for it. Besides, they were on the other side of the property. As I walked up to make the grab a guy with a trimmer decided to work right where I was. That wasn’t awkward at all. Made quick work of it and went on my way. Then as I was pressing the button for the crosswalk to go back to my car, a spider decided to say hi.

Visited 3/15/2019 Pengwinldy took it to CD Crossings La Costa California - 21.8 miles  Visit Log

CD Crossings La Costa: such a beautiful afternoon for this easy walk. So many different birds out and of course the painted lady butterflies are migrating en force! Instead of just looking when I got to GZ, I was reading hints and logs. I looked for quite awhile to no avail, then I looked up and it was just sitting in the crotch of the tree. No camo, no nothing. Not where it supposed to be and full of stuff that really should not have been in there. Was planning to leave a bug here but didn’t trust it to be safe so didn’t. Did leave my signature penguin though. Plus I hid it more in line with the hint.
