De GPS ontvangt alleen maar gegevens vanaf de sateliet. Maar er is meer in de ruimte. Een grote schotel (Radiotelescopen) wordt er meer gegevens uit de ruimte ontvangen. Deze TC wil deze radiotelescopen bezoeken. De grootste individuele radiotelescoop is de Russische RATAN-600 met een antenne met een diameter van 576 meter. Een andere grote, vaste radiotelescoop is de Arecibo radiotelescoop op Puerto Rico. In Nederland staat een grote radiotelescoop, en wel in de buurt van Dwingeloo in Drenthe. Deze radiotelescoop heeft een schotel van 25 meter diameter en was zelfs enige tijd de grootste radiotelescoop ter wereld. Hij werd en wordt nog steeds beheerd door de stichting ASTRON. In China is op 1 januari 2009 officieel begonnen met de bouw van de grootste individuele radiotelescoop ter wereld, de FAST.[1] De FAST zal dertig voetbalvelden groot worden en zich in Guizhou bevinden.

The GPS receives only data from the satellite. But there is more in space. A large dish is used (radio telescopes) to receive more from space. This TC will visit this radio telescopes. The largest single radio telescope, the Russian RATAN-600 with an antenna with a diameter of 576 meters. Another large fixed telescope is the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico. In the Netherlands, a large radio telescope, and is near Dwingeloo Drenthe. This telescope has a dish 25 meters in diameter and was even for some time the largest radio telescope in the world. He was and is still managed by the Foundation ASTRON. In China, on January 1, 2009 officially started building the world's largest single radio telescope, FAST. [1] The FAST will be thirty football pitches and is located in Guizhou.
