Current Goal

To travel to every state in the United States... and then beyond.  My owner is the 5 year old son of SwatRider and he will (with the help of Dad) track the coin on a map to learn about the different cities and states that I visit.

About This Item

This is the family's second geocoin to send along on a journey.  SwatRider's 6 year old son lays claim to the geocoin and he is really looking forward to following the coin's travels on the map.  We hope you can provide him with an interesting piece of information about the state and/or city that the geocoin is currently visiting.

Okay, this was a two day trip to the beautiful Land of Thueringen. Until 1990 Thueringen was part of the German Democratic Republic that no longer exists. Thueringen holds a lot of important places of the German history: the founder of the protestant reformation Martin Luther in Eisenach, the poets Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller in Weimar and last not least the best german winter sport athletes especially in the discipline of Biathlon.
