This is a really nice coin. I'm glad it was rescued! I'll explain. We were attending the ArkGeo 2008 Annual Social which was a campout at Lake Catherine State park near Hot Springs.
Everyone had a wonderful time and settled around the campfire as darkness approached for cache talk and fellowship....then the raccoons came. Not one or two mind you. The camping area was quickly under siege as over a dozen of those very curious and hungry animals began to tear into every cooler and trash can they could find.
Food was quickly secured in vehicles and we just settled back listening to them knock the lids off the trash cans. We had unfortunately forgotten about the pavilion. They of course, had not. When everyone got there they had already had their way with whatever caught their attention. Door prizes were scattered about and a bright shiny geocoin stood little chance of going unnoticed. Fortunately the little geo-thief decided to let go of his prize a short distance away.
So now this Finland Geocoin is safe from any furry would be coin thieves and will once gain be able to resume its mission.😁
