Travel from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada to the Great Wall of China (ideally to Badaling where the coin originally came from) and back to it's point of origin while collecting as many pictures along the way as possible.
If you believed that the Great Mongolian Hordes were a thing of the past, think again!
They are alive and well except now they operate on the Great Wall of China and have re-branded themselves as 'souvenir vendors'. But don't be fooled!... They are just as tenacious as their predecessors! I found out when I traveled to China last year to adopt my son and while visiting the Wall I was offered this "Authentic Mongolian Coin just for you"! I don't remember what I payed but it was probably way too much (mind you, I'm easy pray - not much of a bargainer). Anyway, now I am sending the coin on it's way back to China and, hopefully, it will come back and will have collected many pretty pictures along the way.

PS. This is my very first trackable item. I think there will be many more to come...
update: Actually, I was able to find some information about the 'coin' after quite a bit of searching online. Apparently, this is actually a chinese amulet, so of no monetary value and "The obverse roughly translated says it will bring the owner "more money" while the reverse depicts the Pa Gua, or 8 trigrams of the I Ching." (http://www.numismondo.com/aboutourlogo/). I don't know how old it could be however. If you have any idea, drop me a line....
