    Found the Slammer in the Red Hills cache today will put him into another cache the next time I go geocaching. He's in good shape and happy to be traveling. We will take a couple of pictures of him later and post them.

    I picked up Alabama Slammer last night just before dark.I live in Bruceville IN. and will be Placing Alabama Slammer today on the 24th. I will take pictures of some of the place'sAlabama has been and the view Alabama has from its new home for now.

After the long day touring Vincennes Alabama was glad to take a rest in her new home for a spell, But She is hopeful that some one will come a long soon and take her to a new place to see more new sites.

    I retrieved Alabama Slammer from Iroquois Park and have taken him north across the mighty Ohio River to my digs in Indiana. I've rather sardonically offered to share with him a fine bottle of Delirium Tremens, but the ingrate sits there with his trunk turned up! (Beer cognoscenti will appreciate the irony here: Delirium Tremens is a strong Belgian ale and it's logo is a pink elephant.) Perhaps with a name like Slammer one shouldn't expect him to appreciate the finer points of good ale.

    Well, he'll soon be safely ensconced in a cache here in Indiana. Maybe he'll find beer more to his liking with his next hosts. I hope he does.
