Current Goal

My mission is to travel to as many U.S. National Park Service sites or state parks of historical interest as possible.  I would like to collect a small token from each location before moving on to my next stop.  I expect to accumulate baggage as I travel and would prefer the deluxe accomodations of a traditional cache.  

UPDATE:  Thanks to all the geocachers who helped me along on my travels.  Now, I would like to start heading home and would appreciate a lift from anyone who can help me get back to central Texas.

Found this collection of park memorabilia in Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas. Decided that since it had already traveled it should have a mission and keep on going.

    I lifted skirt to find the cache, and this very cool travel bug fell out. Not sure why a travel bug was left at this location. It wasn't placed in the cache, since the cache doesn't hold bugs. It was just sitting there under the lamp post skirt. I grabbed it so I could keep it moving south, since I see it wants to go home to Texas. I will see what I can do to get it closer.

    Not quite at Ft Snelling State Park that I was intending, but between work and the recent snows, don't quite know when I'd get it there-so it's in a cache next to a ginormous American flag!

    Found this one in the Anza Borrego desert. Added a Lake Perris State Rec Area laminated card to the list and have it with me in Minneapolis. I hope to leave it here, but caching in the snow makes it incredibly difficult!
