This is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air. In 1957 there was a great TV commercial with the jingle "See the USA in your Chevrolet. That meant a top of the line, gas-guzzling, super long Bel Air with white-wall tires. This car reminds me of times when cruising the highways was a major pastime. Particularly the family drive on Sundays.
Bel Air wants to see the USA and cruise the highways and byways to all 50 states. Of course, he hopes to link up with other classic cars as he travels!

I was born just a few years after that and I don't remember having seen a Bel Air on the road but I remember Sundays' drives with my dad in the Meteor Rideau. I discovered your TB while brousing randomly in the gallery. Thank you for sharing.
