About This Item

OFFICIAL TRACKABLE

When I was visited by my out of state relatives growing up I can remember the phrase, “What a knob!” being thrown around frequently.

This trackable is not a collectable or a signature item and shouldn't be kept.

Please continue moving this official travelbug to a secure geocache in a timely manner. (Generally within two weeks), you don’t want to be a knob do you?

This is not an item to keep.

Picked up at Bedford Bugalow geocache located in Bedford VA home of the National D-day memorial located below the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Peaks of Otter lodge and recreational area it is located close to the Appalachian trail along the parkway going north of South.
This is a picture I took overlooking Abbott Lake at the Peaks of Otter Lodge at Blue Ridge Parkway milepost 86 at about lake you are surrounded by three "peaks" Sharptop Mountain is the most popular of all as it's summit provides rock outcroppings with365 degree views it is an out and back hike vs a loop. Flattop Mountain has two trailheads and can be hiked out and back or up and over to 2nd trailhead parking Harkening hill is 3rd "peak" that make up peaks of otter and is much less traveled but affords views you don't see from sharptop or flattop mountains. There is also a 1800s farmstead you can hike to and is open seasonally with period intereters to teach about the Johnsons farm is very educational and engaging especially for littles
