Current Goal

We are following multiple ISTE travel bugs and we'd like to see which travels the farthest, which meets the most people, and which gets the closest to the Pennsylvania Convention Center by June 26, 2011 when ISTE's Annual Conference and Exposition begins. Everyone involved in moving an ISTE travel bug that achieves one of these goals will be entered into a drawing for a signed copy of GPS and Geocaching in Education by Burt Lo. When you find the ISTE Travel Bug, please take a picture and share a fact about the location. We would like to learn about each place the ISTE Travel Bug visits. We will be posting the pictures and facts submitted on the ISTE.org website for teachers and students to follow.

    Found this trackable in the geocache GC9KK03 which is also on the Gold Coast but not logged in there. We found it in a nice cache in a beautiful park. It was such a lovely day to be out and about in the early winter sunshine at about 25 C. We picked it up and will move it along as soon as we can. Queenslands Gold Coast is about half way up the East coast of Australia, on the coast, with beautiful golden sandy beaches and plenty of vacation atmosphere. Our climate is tropical and we can swim in the beautiful Pacific Ocean any time of year.

    Found at GC82RR6 - Little Oasis. It was not logged in there, last place it was is 223km east of here, obviously not logged when it was dropped off here. Will move it on.
