In true expedition fashion, this Travel Bug is trying to cross all over North America and should be kept moving when possible.
Although the trip began in Washington, D.C., the hitchhikers attached have a particular fondness for offroad areas of forest, mountains, desert, and beach. They would like to travel throughout the continent in its entirety.
When placing this travel bug please make sure it is in a legal cache, on public accessible trails or roads, following Tread Lightly practices. www.treadlightly.org. Also remember to Cache In - Trash Out.
Thank you for your help. Enjoy.
This Travel Bug is one of a series of seven that are currently in motion. All originated in Washington DC, our nations capital, on January 1, 2011.
Designed to encourage safe, responsible, and fun offroad adventures the FJ Bruisers Geocache Explorer is a trackable item that is moved from cache to cache by likeminded folks.
This Travel Bug has a few hitch hikers attached: A green 1968 Toyota FJ-40 Landcruiser, a yellow MAXTRAX FJ Cruiser GeoCoin #091, FJ Bruiser Coin, and an information card.
This travel bug is sponsored by the FJ Bruisers, the mid-Atlantic US based offroad club whose membership promote safe, responsible, and enjoyable offroading while operating Toyota FJ Cruisers.
Stop in and say hello.
