Yes, this train did get to it´s destination, but was moved on to new adventures before my contact could pick it up at the Bay Area. So please take this TB back to California as close to Stanford University as possible. THANKS!
BRIO is a wooden toy company founded in Sweden. Founder Ivar Bengtsson was a basket maker who started to make toys in Osby, Scania, in southern Sweden. Even though toys were a permanent part of BRIOs range, the company sold the most varied products, from glassware and ceramics to textiles and toothbrushes. The signature material in BRIO toys has always been, and always will be, wood. The new classics are wooden toys in a new, modern design, with the same possibility of being handed down through generations as BRIOs old favourites.
