About This Item

This is our second try with a trackable.  The first one was lost soon after it was released.  Our 11 year-old son and 9 year-old daughter were part of Lego Robotics teams in late 2010. This year's competition was called Body Forward, with a theme of biomedical engineering. They had to program a Lego Mindstorms brick (a mini-computer), and build a robot to accomplish various tasks on a defined playing field (move cardiac patch into heart, move bionic eyes, etc.). The teams also had to research an original project and make a presentation to a panel of judges. This brick was given out to participants at the Regional competition held in Atlanta, Georgia in December 2010. The entire family had a great time in our first year in Lego Robotics. We celebrated by going to Legoland in California during our holiday break.
