This is Bella-geo's geocaching collar. She wore it on hikes for many years. The bell let me know when she was underfoot or had fallen behind. She wore it to events to be discovered. With her passing, I am releasing it to the wild, hoping her geocaching legacy will continue. Please help keep her legacy alive by moving her collar from cache to cache or event to event. If a CO allows it, I will log a FIND for her each time her TB is dropped.
UPDATE Sept. 28, 2022: Bella-geo passed over the Rainbow Bridge today. She was peacefully at home, cloaked in love, and under the compassionate care of Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Locally, she was a geocaching legend. On the day she passed, she had 10,231 finds. She gave back to the community by hiding nine geocaches, hosting nine events (including her CCE to celebrate 10,000 finds), and sixty-one Lab locations.
ORIGINAL ENTRY: Bella, geonick Bella-Geo, is a frequent companion on my geocaching adventures. She gets really excited when I start packing my gear and getting ready. She isn't a typical "trail dog," weighing 8 pounds and full of fur, but she loves to hike. She stays on the trail and loves to be off-lead. As of October 16, 2012, she has 2,647 finds and always finishes her logs with "Roo Woof," PappyPoo for, "Thanks for this find."

UPDATE: Bella is no longer a "trail dog." Around 2015 she discovered the value of shade; she would stop in the shade of a bush and refuse to move. When I picked her up, I was amazed at how hot her black fur was. I felt terrible thinking she had hiked up to 11 miles when this hot. On rare occasions, I will take her hiking with me on cloudy days or carry her in a Ruff-It backpack for hikes that are three miles or less.
However, she is still a full-on "geocaching dog." She has over 7,000 finds and has filled her Finds By Date calendar. My wife loves it when I take Bella-Geo out for a day of geocaching. Bella loves it too. Like many dogs, she gets excited when she gets to go for a ride, but when I pull out her geo-collar and geo-harness, she goes bananas, hardly able to contain her excitement as we head out the door.
Here is a short video of the countdown to her 7,000th find. https://youtu.be/Dlz91XhIkmk
