Current Goal

He always told many stories of being overseas in France, Italy, and over into Asia and Korea. And I am sure he would like to travel to these places again, I hope that you all will enjoy taking him for another trip around the world and continuing his journey on earth, as I will enjoy the stories to add to his life as a travel bug. Please respect this bug and treat it well, I would love to see the places he goes so please post pictures with this bug if possible.

About This Item

Geno

This bug is dedicated to my father Geno Re who was taken from this world to early April 9th 2010 from a vicious cancer. When he was only 16, during World War II he entered into the military and started his extensive career. He always had wanted to travel again to these many places he had seen as a young man and an early adult and see how they have changed over the years. I would like my Geno Travel Bug to travel to all of those places he was not able to visit before his passing. I will make Leavenworth, Wa. his first goal and from there he wanted to go back to San Francisco and maybe down to San Jose where he was born and raised.

saw this one and was touched by the story so we grabbed it. She's not much at logging so I thought I should log it quick and read the story finally. I too was touched. My father fought in WWII after landing in Northern Africa thanks to a trip overseas by our fine Navy full of fine young men like your father. I see its been to Washington and will try to get it near MSP via the Mall of America so it can get to California.   • Geno visted tthe CBOC in North Seattle They thanked him for his service, but said they could not do anything further, and he was free to travel at will.
  • Geno tried to visit Dr Diamond in Winthorp but since it was Sunday, the doctor was not in, so Geno went up the road.
