About This Item

Crosses4U Geocache Tag

This cross was made to remind you of the price that was paid for you.  The nails that pierced His hands and feet, the cord representing the leather straps that He was beaten with, and the wire representing the crown of thorns that was placed on His head.  What did Jesus do?  He died for You!

This particular cross was made with the three patriotic colors of the United States of America, representing our freedom of religion to serve Jesus Christ without persecution.

Today was our first day EVER of true geocaching. We set out, myself, my two small boys and their auntie, while the men folk were off seeing a movie. The Auto Swap one sounded so fun, that we had to go...

Armed with 4 cars, an iPhone and fun in our hearts we set out. After finding the geocache, we were so excited to swap cars. We sat on the trail and pulled out the contents to see what we wanted to swap for. After a review of the items, we decied that we would put all 4 of our cars in and only take 1 with us.

We used our afternoon together to spend quality time DOING something...rather than watching tv today. We were teaching our children the fun in adventures and hide and seek. We also showed the kids that just cuz you have 4 items to put in, you don't have to take 4...just 1 that you really want.

We enjoyed reading about our Travel Bug. My family is from IL, so that part was wonderful for me. My sons and I read the Bible nightly, so I found your story behind our Travel Bug wonderful. We will move him on to a geocache in the near future!

Enjoy and we will be watching to see where he ends up!
