Current Goal

Barnsley Sea Cadets are celebrating their 70th Anniversary on the 1st September 2012.

To help us celebrate we are releasing a number of trackables, whose mission is to visit as many places as possible. Red Tyke is our 4th trackable. He is being tracked by a group of Cadets.

We would really like him to visit as many Barnsley's as possible especially Barnsley in New South Wales (Australia).

Please help our Tyke travel as far as possible between his release date and the 1st September 2012. It would make it even better if he could return to Barnsley South Yorkshire to end his travels on the 1st September 2012.

We hope when he returns he will have some Tales to Tell.

Additionally I would like to complete the following mini tasks:
 

  • Have its photo taken with a real Sailor
  • Have its photo taken with a real Marine
  • Have its photo taken on a ship
  •  Have its photo taken outside as many Sea Cadet Units as possible
  • Have its photo taken with as many Barnsley signs as possible

September is fast approaching so I think this little bug should start heading home. I'll take it as far as Singapore in a couple of weeks and will try and get some of the mini challenges done in the meantime.
