About This Item

A Salty Dog

A tribute to Norway's fishermen, and to Procol Harum's classic 1969 album A Salty Dog.

The souvenir was purchased at Polaria museum in Tromsø, Norway. Tromsø is a main port way above the Arctic Circle, and is free from ice all year round, thanks to the Gulf Stream. The harbour sees a lot of fishing vessels, mainly Norwegian and Russian.
