Flora the Flower Fairy wants to travel--wherever her fancy leads her! She thinks it would be nice to get to Magic City, Idaho (north of Twin Falls on Highway 75)or go to New York Central Park and hear Diane Wolkstein tell fairy tales by the statue of Hans Christian Andersen. And how about Copenhagen, Denmark or Ireland to visit the Wee Folk? Enchanted woodland glades or tranquil caches by singing brooks are fine too. City caches will let her make all kinds of new friends. She just doesn't want to stay in one place very long! She wants to go as far as she can in one year and in Aug. 2004 head back to Livermore, Ca.
Flora believes that friendship is a magical thing and she wants to make a lot of new friends in caches all over the world. She is hoping you will take some pictures for her memory book. If she makes it to New York City, Flora says to go to (visit link) to find out when Diane Wolkstein is telling fairy stories. It is free and happens on 1-2 Saturdays per month in the summer from 11-12 PM. There may not be a cache in the park, but document that Flora was there and send her flitting on her way. When Flora heads home in August of 2004, a message will be put on her web page with the name of the cache she is headed for.
