This bug was released into the wild to commemorate the fun and fellowship of Alberta Jamboree 2003 at Camp Impeesa on the shores of Beaver Mines Lake just southwest of Pincher Creek, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies.
The bug was set free by Scouts Canada in "The Lonely Spruce" (GCGTRC), a cache placed as part of "Checkpoint Charlie" - a geocaching adventure held at the camp during the week of July 13 to 19th, 2003. The activity and the geocache were proudly sponsored by The Alberta Land Surveyors' Association.
