About This Item

Travel Bug Lure

This lure was created and given away to the public in conjunction with a Boating Safety Campaign in 2005.  Lee County FL (Ft Myers area) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) passed out the lures to boaters both on the water and at public outreach events.

Well, we got this bug diagonally all the way across the USA from where it started and near water too! Just a few feet from this cache was a little waterway with ducks and I even parked in the overflow boat trailer parking area! Perfect!! I am glad I got the opportunity to move this tb so far and so near to Groundspeak. Maybe someone else can move it there for a 'dip'. I wish it good travels and will be watching where it goes next.

Grabbed it for a trip to Seattle, Washington!
My son is in the hospital up here with a collapsed lung. Brought up a bunch of bugs to hopefully drop off if time permits. As I log this in, I am sitting at the University of Washington at Seattle hospital, 6th floor, overlooking some water and I passed Lake Union earlier today on the way up, full of boats!
